"Who Are We?" From Chairman Robanske.

1/30/2009

Welcome!

Embracing Orphans is made up entirely of volunteers interested in using their talents and abilities to improve the lives of the orphaned. Through fundraising, outreach trips, and positive relationships with organizations caring for orphans E.O. hopes to change the quality of life for orphaned children.

Blossom Gardens is a place of safety for abused, neglected, and orphaned children in Montego Bay. E.O. has helped to improve this facility by providing; toddler manipulative toys, two commercial playgrounds, replacing all worn and broken cribs, adding new toddler furniture, construction on the library, preschool teacher training, preschool supplies, staff education on Autism & abuse, dental check ups, kids programs, field trips, painting, hundreds of pounds of supplies, and assistance with childcare.

Windsor Girls' Home in St. Ann's Bay is beginning to receive help from E.O. The next two projects, the first Young Life camp in Jamaica, and a security wall for the facility are solely for these girls. Through these two projects E.O. hopes to show these girls they are loved and worth protecting.

E.O. is an advocate for adoption and has begun assisting families in the steps to adopt through the Child Development Agency in Jamaica.

There are over fifty million orphans in the world. The need to assist in the lives of these children is great. E.O. plans to become involved in orphanages in other countries throughout the coming years.

Blessings,

Carl Robanske
