Stockings from the Scouts

Three orphanages in Jamaica will be blessed with toys this Christmas thanks to kids from Walla Walla. New Hope Children's Home in Mandeville will be recieving stockings filled with toys from the Cub Scouts. Windsor Girl's Home in St. Ann's Bay will be getting gifts from the Amazing Grace Nazarene Church youth group. Blossom Gardens in Montego Bay will have packages for the kids this year thanks to Pioneer Middle School's National Junior Honor Society.
CLC Big Give!

At the end of a seven week project, refered to as the "Big Give", the Christian Life Center presented Embracing Orphans Chairman Carl Robanske with a check for $16,000. With this contribution E.O. and CLC will be able to put in two playground structures at Blossom Gardens Child Care Center in Jamaica over Christmas Break. In addition to the check CLC will be sending volunteers to help with the build, children's programs, and other projects working with the orphaned. Project Give is a television series about inspiring giving. It will be shown on Washington and Oregon public channels. Producer Lisa Hepner had this to say about Embracing Orphans.

Our friend Maryam is adopting Daniel from Blossom Gardens. Please pray for divine interventions leading to a speedy adoption.
Unable to walk without assistance, Shaneek relies on others for mobility. Please pray for the continued efforts of volunteers and staff who take her outside to play.
Mike and Kristi Bump, residents of Walla Walla, are adopting Matthew. Please pray that they would be able to bring him home this Christmas trip.
