Trips

Churches, organizations, and individuals have joined Embracing Orphans in Jamaica for short term volunteer work. Teams have taken on facility building and maintenance, staff and student education, and childcare assistance.

Embracing Orphans has been blessed to have partnered with several groups from their base in Washington State, including Life Church, Amazing Grace Church of the Nazarene, Walla Walla Young Life, and Walla Walla Valley Academy. San Francisco Young Life, Hanford Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Kids Around the World, and other groups have added volunteers from fifteen states and four different countries.

Trips average ten to fourteen days and cost approximately $1,700 per person. This cost is dependent on the season, your location of departure, and your team's length of stay.
